Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Signal Watch website and product. By browsing this site, joining the waitlist, or (when available) purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The product

Signal Watch is a digital subscription service. It monitors a fixed set of public web sources related to a named competitor (for example changelog, pricing, careers, blog, status) and emails a short English digest with deep links. It is not legal advice, investment advice, or a guarantee of competitive outcomes.

2. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law and use the service for lawful business or professional purposes. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit (including waitlist email).

3. Accounts and waitlist

Waitlist submissions are collected via our form provider (Tally) and used as described in our Privacy Policy. When paid accounts launch, you must keep credentials confidential and notify us of unauthorized use at saliowawa@gmail.com.

4. Fees and billing (when live)

• Paid plans are billed in USD on a recurring monthly basis unless otherwise stated at checkout.
• Prices shown on the marketing site (including $29/mo) describe intended pricing and may change before or after launch; the price confirmed at checkout controls. This page does not open checkout today.
• Taxes may apply depending on your location and the payment provider.

Refunds and cancellation are described in Section 5.

5. Refunds and cancellation

While on the waitlist (no charge): You may leave the waitlist anytime by emailing saliowawa@gmail.com. There is nothing to refund because no payment is collected on this site until billing goes live.

When paid subscriptions are live:

• Cancel: You may cancel a paid plan anytime via the method provided at checkout / customer portal, or by emailing saliowawa@gmail.com. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues through the end of the paid period already charged unless we state otherwise at checkout.
• Refunds: Digital digests already delivered for a paid period are generally non-refundable. If a charge was made in error, duplicated, or we failed to provide the subscribed service, email support within 14 days of the charge and we will review a refund or credit in good faith. Any additional refund policy stated at checkout or in writing controls for that purchase.
• Mandatory consumer rights in your place of residence are not waived where they cannot be waived by contract.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for illegal surveillance, harassment, fraud, or to violate third-party rights
• Ask us to access non-public systems, bypass authentication, CAPTCHA, paywalls, or robots restrictions we decline to violate
• Resell, scrape, or systematically redistribute digests in a way that circumvents a paid subscription without our written consent
• Interfere with site infrastructure, overload polling targets abusively through our service, or attempt unauthorized access
• Misrepresent affiliation with Signal Watch or with monitored competitors

We may suspend or terminate access for violations or abuse.

7. Public sources and third-party content

Digests summarize or point to content published by third parties on public URLs. Those sites’ terms, accuracy, and availability are outside our control. Deep links may break; pages may change or disappear. You remain responsible for how you use competitive information in your business.

8. No warranties / no guarantees

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee uninterrupted monitoring, complete capture of every change, zero false positives/negatives, specific delivery times, or any business result (wins, revenue, or competitive advantage).

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Signal Watch and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from use of the site, waitlist, or digests. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim, or (b) USD $29 if you have not paid.

10. Intellectual property

Our branding, site copy, digest format, and software are owned by us or our licensors. Public source content remains owned by its publishers. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use digests for your internal business purposes under an active subscription (or as otherwise agreed).

11. Privacy

Personal data is handled under our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted. We may discontinue the waitlist or product with notice when reasonably practicable. You may stop using the service at any time. Paid-plan cancellation and refunds follow Section 5.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer or local laws in your place of residence require otherwise. For cross-border users, we encourage good-faith negotiation first; unresolved disputes may be submitted to a competent court or mutually agreed arbitration forum with international commercial practice in mind. Nothing in this section waives non-waivable statutory rights.
